ABOUT OUR HOSPITAL
The focus of our business is to provide quality, compassionate, cutting edge medicine in a supportive and understanding environment. Every pet is treated as if it was one of our own. We strive to keep the primary care veterinarian advised so they can be involved in patient care. When an animal member of your family has an emergency it is comforting to know they can receive the necessary treatment in a caring, comfortable environment. The Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Center is equipped to perform a complete range of veterinary services to evaluate, diagnose and treat your pet.
The Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Center opened March, 2004. Prior to opening, pet owners from the west side of Onondaga county and the counties surrounding Onondaga county to the North and West would have to travel 30 or more minutes to receive emergency care for their pets. Since we have opened we have provided up-to-date, compassionate medical and surgical services to over 7000 clients and 7800 patients.
Currently we are open when your primary care veterinarian is not – nights, weekends and holidays. Our future plans are to be open 24/7 and to expand our services. Watch our website for updates.
